El ejército israelí aún combate milicianos en varias localidades del sur del país. La respuesta de Israel, en forma de bombardeos sobre objetivos en la franja de Gaza, se ha cobrado la vida de al menos 413 personas, según el Ministerio de Salud de la Autoridad Palestina, que informa también de 2.300 heridos.
