Un sujeto armado desenfundó su arma y le arrebató sus pertenencias a un grupo de mujeres que estaban sentadas en una panadería Villa Alianza, ubicada en el Centro Comercial con el mismo nombre en Puerto Ordaz, estado Bolívar.
El atraco de este martes, cuyo video circula en redes sociales y páginas web, es uno más para la estadística, pues comercios cercanos también han sido azotados por el hampa común de esa misma forma. De hecho, en julio de 2012, en el mismo sitio, asesinaron a Alejandro Borges, de 43 años, en compañía de su madre y cuatro amigas por resistirse al robo.
Su madre, Yolett de Borges, relató en ese entonces que “llegaron dos vagabundos y nos quitaron las carteras. Alejandro quiso rechazar la acción y me lo mataron como a un perro, la muerte de mi hijo tengo que agradecerla a Hugo Chávez”.
Recientemente Ciudad Guayana subió del puesto 12 al 11 en el listado de las 20 de las ciudades más peligrosas del mundo, según el informe anual publicado por la asociación civil mexicana, Consejo Ciudadano para la Seguridad Pública y Justicia Penal.
Ciudad Guayana, conformada por Puerto Ordaz y San Félix, es la cuarta más violenta de Venezuela y ha estado seis veces dentro del ranking. En 2015 8 ciudades venezolanas figuraron. La capital del país, Caracas, destronó a la ciudad hondureña San Pedro Sula para quedarse con el primer lugar.
