El presidente Danilo Medina envió al pueblo dominicano un mensaje de esperanza en ocasión de la celebración de la Navidad, e hizo votos por una familia cada vez más unida y un país cada vez más justo.

Que Dios nos ayude a tener siempre la capacidad de soñar
 “Que Dios nos ayude, siempre, a tener la capacidad de soñar y de transformar nuestros sueños en realidad. Por eso, en este día de Navidad, sentémonos a la mesa, dividamos el pan y, ante todo, compartamos una gran esperanza”, dijo Danilo Medina.

Parabienes de la familia presidencial al pueblo dominicano
El Jefe de Estado expresó sus parabienes a la familia dominicana, en compañía de su esposa, doña Cándida Montilla de Medina y de sus hijas Sibely, Vanessa y Ana Paula, en un mensaje dirigido a toda la nación.

Continuar luchando por un mundo mejor
“Esta es la noche del Niño que nació para salvar al mundo. Y de su familia terrenal, aquella que participó con él de esa tarea sagrada y gloriosa. Es, así, la más linda fiesta de amor y unión familiar”.

Reflexionó que cada uno de nosotros busca más fuerza y esperanza, para continuar luchando por un mundo mejor, que comienza en nuestra casa, en nuestra familia.

 “Sé que existe una persona, en cada país, que no tiene el derecho de colocar a su familia en primer lugar. Es el presidente o la presidenta de cualquier nación. Su compromiso debe ser pensar primero en su país, en su pueblo, y en la gran familia que formamos todos nosotros”, dijo el presidente de la República.

Iguales en la fuerza, el coraje, la honestidad y la solidaridad
Precisó que “estoy aquí, con mi familia, para desearles una Feliz Navidad, y también, para renovar nuestro compromiso de ser iguales a cualquier familia dominicana”.
 
Danilo Medina manifestó a seguidas, “iguales en la fuerza, el coraje, la honestidad, la solidaridad y en la capacidad de luchar por un futuro mejor. Iguales en sueños y en esperanzas”.

Alcanzar ideal de un país donde todos vean reconocidos sus derechos
Expresó su deseo de alcanzar el ideal de un país donde todos sean iguales en el deseo de que ningún niño nazca, en nuestro país, sin casa, sin comida, sin escuela, sin libros, sin futuro.

“Que no vea, jamás, a su papá rondando triste por la casa, porque no tiene empleo”.

¡Que Dios nos bendiga a todos!
Afirmó que desea un país donde un niño no vea, jamás, a su mamá llorar por el dolor físico de no tener un medicamento, o por el dolor espiritual de no tener esperanza.

“Que no sienta, jamás, el dolor de perder un ser querido arrebatado por la violencia. Al contrario.  Que Dios nos ayude, siempre, a tener la capacidad de soñar y de transformar nuestros sueños en realidad. Por eso, en este día de Navidad, sentémonos a la mesa, dividamos el pan y, ante todo, compartamos una gran esperanza”.

دبي JUMEIRAH BEACH, DUBAI, Dubai is a city and emirate in the United Arab Emirates known for luxury shopping, ultramodern architecture and a lively nightlife scene. Dubai (/duːˈbaɪ/ doo-BY; Arabic: دبي‎‎ Dubayy, Gulf pronunciation: [dʊˈbɑj]) is the largest and most populous city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).[4] It is located on the southeast coast of the Persian Gulf and is the capital of the Emirate of Dubai, one of the seven emirates that make up the country. Abu Dhabi and Dubai are the only two emirates to have veto power over critical matters of national importance in the country's Federal Supreme Council.[5][6] The city of Dubai is located on the emirate's northern coastline and heads the Dubai-Sharjah-Ajman metropolitan area. Dubai will host World Expo 2020.[7]

Dubai emerged as a global city and business hub of the Middle East.[8] It is also a major transport hub for passengers and cargo. By the 1960s, Dubai's economy was based on revenues from trade and, to a smaller extent, oil exploration concessions, but oil was not discovered until 1966. Oil revenue first started to flow in 1969.[9] Dubai's oil revenue helped accelerate the early development of the city, but its reserves are limited and production levels are low: today, less than 5% of the emirate's revenue comes from oil.[10]

The Emirate's Western-style model of business drives its economy with the main revenues now coming from tourism, aviation, real estate, and financial services.[11][12][13] Dubai was recently named the best destination for Muslim travellers by Salam Standard.[14] Dubai has recently attracted world attention through many innovative large construction projects and sports events. The city has become iconic for its skyscrapers and high-rise buildings, in particular the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa. Dubai has been criticised for human rights violations concerning the city's largely South Asian and Filipino workforce.[15] Dubai's property market experienced a major deterioration in 2008–09 following the financial crisis of 2007–08,[16] but the emirate's economy has made a return to growth, with a projected 2015 budget surplus.[17]

As of 2012, Dubai was the 22nd most expensive city in the world and the most expensive city in the Middle East.[18][19] In 2014, Dubai's hotel rooms were rated as the second most expensive in the world, after Geneva.[20] In 2013, U.S. global consulting firm Mercer rated Dubai the best place to live in the Middle East. Dubai has a hot desert climate. Summers in Dubai are extremely hot, windy, and humid, with an average high around 41 °C (106 °F) and overnight lows around 30 °C (86 °F) in the hottest month, August. Most days are sunny throughout the year. Winters are warm with an average high of 24 °C (75 °F) and overnight lows of 14 °C (57 °F) in January, the coldest month. Precipitation, however, has been increasing in the last few decades, with accumulated rain reaching 94.3 mm (3.71 in) per year.[58] Dubai summers are also known for the moderate to high humidity level, which can make it uncomfortable for many.[59] The highest recorded temperature in the UAE is 52.1 °C (126 °F), reached in July 2002
