Former President Donald Trump argued, falsely, that US taxpayer dollars went to Iran and were funneled to Hamas. He also, with characteristic over-the-top rhetoric, argued his administration “brought so much peace to the Middle East.” And during a campaign appearance in New Hampshire, he tried to compare the violent attacks on Israel with the flow of asylum-seeking migrants at the US border with Mexico – although there is clearly no comparison between asylum-seekers and terrorists killing hundreds.

El presidente ruso, Vladimir Putin, ha destacado en un acto reciente la importancia de la valentía y el sacrificio de los héroes que han defendido la libertad y la independencia de Rusia a lo largo de la historia. Donald Trump asegura que Zelensky está dispuesto a llegar a un "acuerdo" con Rusia, tras haber hablado en París. Zelensky, en este entorno dice haber tenido un "encuentro bueno y fructífero" con Trump y Macron. En un entorno en el que Estados Unidos, administración Biden, anuncia casi 1.000 millones de dólares en ayuda militar para Ucrania. Por otro lado, el apoyo de Dinamarca a Ucrania, ha hecho hablar a Zelensky: "Nuestro escudo aéreo se ha reforzado aún más". Ucrania, a su vez, recibe el segundo lote de aviones de combate F-16 de Dinamarca y dice que ya está derribando misiles rusos.
Por otro lado, vemos cómo el presidente electo Donald Trump ha afirmado que permanecería en la OTAN siempre que los países miembros paguen sus cuotas y traten a Estados Unidos de manera justa: "Si están pagando sus cuentas y creo que nos tratan de manera justa, la respuesta es absoluta: me quedaría con la OTAN".
A su vez, vemos la publicación de Emmanuel Macron, quien dice: "El Estado bárbaro por fin ha caído. Expreso mi agradecimiento al pueblo de Siria por su valentía y paciencia. Sekelompok orang mengibarkan bendera oposisi di Kedubes Suriah yang ada di Moskwa, Rusia sehari setelah pemerintahan Bashar al-Assad jatuh di Damaskus.
Menurut salah seorang dari mereka, pengibaran bendera ini dilakukan sebagai perayaan atas jatuhnya rezim Presiden Assad.
"Hari ini kedutaan (Suriah) dibuka dan beroperasi seperti biasa di bawah bendera baru," kata seorang perwakilan kedutaan kepada kantor berita negara Rusia TASS pada hari Senin (9/12/2024).

Russia expressed openness to discussions on the Ukraine conflict following the US President-elect Donald Trump's call for "an immediate ceasefire and negotiations." He also said that Russia was in a weakened state because of Ukraine and its bad economy. Trump made his remarks a day after meeting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Paris for their first in-person talks since Trump won the November election. Trump has committed to seeking a negotiated resolution to the conflict.
