Welcome to Displore and thanks for watching, in this video, we shall be taking you on a tour across the most beautiful cities in Africa. Africa is a large continent made up of 54 sovereign countries and each of these countries offer unique experiences for travelers especially through its cities. These cities are having various cultures, various landmarks, diverse populations and numerous entertainment options. Some of these cities have sparkling lights, futuristic skylines, concrete street ways and buzzing energy that really draws people in and makes everything seem possible. Within every city are elements that of beauty that can be found but there are certain that just standout than others and in this video we shall try to narrow down the 25 most beautiful cities in Africa.

25. Monrovia, Liberia
Monrovia is the capital city and chief Atlantic port of Liberia. Located on the Atlantic Coast at Cape Mesurado, Monrovia has a population estimated at 1.2million people. Monrovia is famously known for its pre-colonial buildings and as being the educational center of Liberia with medical facilities such as the John F. Bushrod Island contains the only artificial harbor and free port in West Africa.
24. Luanda, Angola
Luanda, the capital of Angola, is a port city on the west coast of Southern Africa. A seafront promenade known as the Marginal runs alongside Luanda Bay. Nearby is the well-preserved 16th-century Fortress of São Miguel, which now contains the Museum of the Armed Forces. The fort has views of the harbor and the Ilha do Cabo, a long, thin peninsula in the bay that’s home to beaches, bars and restaurants.

At the westernmost point of the African continent, Dakar stands as a multicultural, diverse city full of vibrant arts and traditions. The city is home to museums and mosques, cliff walks and beaches and makes a convenient jumping point for excursions to any of Senegal’s national parks and natural reserves. Its traditional Medina quarter is home to the Grande Mosquée, marked by a towering minaret. The Musée Théodore Monod displays cultural artifacts including clothing, drums, carvings and tools and the city’s vibrant nightlife is inspired by the local mbalax music. With a population of about 1.2million people and a good humid climate, it is one of the most loved cities in Africa.
22. Marrakesh, Morocco
Marrakesh is the city that sums up all of Morocco’s exotic North African Charm. For shoppers, the city is famous as a frenzied hub for bargain hunting. The medina is a densely packed, walled medieval city dating to the Berber Empire, with mazelike alleys where thriving souks or marketplaces sell traditional textiles, pottery and jewelry. And for history loving individuals, the many museums and monuments are some of the country’s sightseeing must-dos. A symbol of the city, and visible for miles, is the Moorish minaret of 12th-century Koutoubia Mosque.
21. Kampala, Uganda
Founded on seven hills, bustling Kampala makes a great introduction to Uganda as it is Uganda's national and commercial capital bordering Lake Victoria, Africa's largest lake. The city is dynamic and engaging with hills covered with red-tile villas and trees that surround an urban Centre of contemporary skyscrapers, Kampala is the capital and largest city of Uganda with an estimated population of 1.7million people. In this downtown area, the Uganda Museum explores the country's tribal heritage through an extensive collection of artifacts.
20. Pretoria, South Africa
Pretoria is the administrative capital of South Africa known for its museums, galleries and music. Pretoria boasts of lush gardens, buzzing nightclubs and eateries with a whole lot of rich South African history. Alongside its natural wildlife sanctuaries, Pretoria’s urban life is centered around great eats and restaurants with entertainment. This is a city that really comes out alive in the evenings, thanks to its large university student population and world round tourists.

Phi Điệp Tím, miền Trung-Nam thường gọi Giả Hạc/Giã Hạc là loại lan thuộc chi Hoàng thảo, người chơi ở VN xếp nó thuộc vào lan thân thòng vì khi mọc dài ra thân nó mềm thòng hướng ngọn xuống đất .
Phi Điệp Tím phân bố rất rộng ở khu vực Đông Nam Á và là loài lan có rất nhiều biến thiên về hoa. Thường thì loài này khi khai thác để bán theo kg trên thị trường có độ dài khoảng 30-100 cm , thân tơ trưởng thành to mập cỡ ngón tay út, tuy nhiên có những cây có thể dài khoảng 1.8 m thân to như ngón tay cái người lớn. Không nói đến những cây đột biến thì đặc điểm dễ nhận thấy ở Phi Điệp Tím là trên thân tơ có chấm tím, tập trung ở nách lá thành 1 vạch màu tím sẫm, cả trên lá cũng có các chấm, còn tùy cây mà số chấm tím trên thân nhiều hay ít.
Lá mọc so le, mọng nước, dài khoảng 7-12 cm, rộng 4-7 cm, tùy xuất xứ có cây lá khá tròn, có vùng lại nhỏ dài. Khi cây xuống lá chờ ra hoa, thân có màu trắng xám loang lổ đốm đen nhìn mốc meo. Thân già các đời trước thì thường khô teo, màu nâu tím hoặc vàng như rơm, bóng.
Mùa hoa rộ vào cuối xuân – đầu hè . Hoa thường mọc trên các đốt dọc theo ½ thân phía ngọn, kích cỡ hoa thường khoảng 6-10 cm, có bông to hơn nhưng ít gặp hơn, độ bền 15-20 ngày. Hoa cơ bản có màu trắng và tím.
Phi Điệp Tím có rất nhiều mặt hoa, có thể nói là đa dạng nhất, nhiều như mặt người vậy, tùy vùng miền xuất xứ mà dáng hoa khác nhau, độ đậm nhạt khác nhau, độ bay của cánh, hình dáng môi hoa, phân bố màu sắc...khác nhau. Ngay cả các cây cùng xuất xứ mặt hoa cũng hơi khác nhau được. Loài này có mùi thơm đậm, ngào ngạt, bay hương xa.
Cây ưa nắng sáng, với các vườn ở vùng đồi núi khi cây thuần có thể chịu nắng 100%, ở các thành phố lớn thì nắng nóng gay gắt hơn không nên phơi nắng cả ngày, có thể cháy lá non. Tốt nhất loài này nên treo dưới một lớp lưới che. Cây trồng nơi râm quá sẽ cớm, quặt quẹo, lá xanh sẫm, thân lá còi nhỏ. Phi Điệp Tím cũng cần nhiều độ ẩm và phân bón vào thời điểm các thân non phát triển. Loài này cũng thích sống trong điều kiện thoáng gió vậy nên ghép vào dớn bảng, ghép gỗ rất thích hợp, dáng cây thòng xuống, buông hoa rất đẹp và lại an toàn, thoáng, đỡ sợ úng, nấm. Nhà có cây sống như nhãn, vải, vú sữa...ghép thẳng lên càng đẹp. Tôi không thích trồng chậu lắm dù nhiều người trồng kiểu này, để giúp thân đứng thẳng thì phải buộc thân vào dây treo, đó là trường hợp thân ngắn chứ nếu giò lan to, thân dài trên 1 m thì vẫn phải treo sao cho miệng chậu nghiêng đi để các thân cây dễ thòng xuống, tránh gãy bởi chính độ nặng của phần ngọn, nhất là hôm có mưa gió.
Phi Điệp Tím là loài có mùa nghỉ. Mùa xuân nảy mầm, mùa hè - thu là mùa phát triển, mùa đông là mùa nghỉ. Mùa phát triển thì ta chăm sóc phân và nước tối đa cho thân non phát triển hết cỡ. Đến cuối thu - đầu đông người miền Bắc bắt đầu phải mặc áo thun dài tay (giữa tháng 10 dương), cây thắt ngọn và lá vàng thì dừng bón phân, treo ra chỗ nhiều ánh sáng hơn, tưới thưa đi, 7-10 ngày mới tưới 01 lần để cây rụng lá, vẫn ko thấy rụng lá hoặc rụng chậm thì dừng hẳn tưới luôn, rụng sạch lá thì dừng tưới hoàn toàn, chỉ khi nào thấy thân nhăn nheo, khô quá thì mới phun sương vào gốc. Đến nửa cuối tháng 3 dương trời ấm dần cây nảy mầm non từ gốc, lúc này bắt đầu tưới nước trở lại nhưng chỉ xịt vào gốc, không làm ướt thân, tuần phun NPK 10-30-10/lần, chờ cây ra hoa. Nếu chăm tưới vào mùa nghỉ thì cây sẽ đẻ keiki trên thân, ít hoa hoặc không hoa. Nghe có vẻ dài dòng thôi chứ thực ra Phi Điệp Tím cực kỳ dễ thuần dưỡng, thuộc hàng dễ nhất, lại phù hợp được với hầu như mọi điều kiện khí hậu từ nóng đến lạnh tại Việt Nam từ miền Nam đến miền Bắc nên ai cũng thích.
Phi Điệp Tím về cơ bản là khỏe, dễ tính nhưng trong tháng 6-8 dương có thể bị nấm do vi khuẩn, thán thư, đốm lá. Nhất là gục thân có thể do mưa rào rồi nắng liên tục + vi khuẩn, đã bị rồi thì chỉ cắt bỏ thân đó đi. Tốt nhất là áp dụng các biện pháp phòng ngừa cho khỏi tiếc:
- Treo cây nơi thoáng, có gió lùa, có nắng, dưới 1 lớp lưới, đừng để tối tăm ẩm thấp.
- Phun nước vôi trong bổ sung canxi giúp cây hấp thụ phân bón tốt hơn và cây cứng khỏe hơn, từ đó chống chọi bệnh tật tốt hơn.
- Phun một trong các loại thuốc hóa học phòng trừ nấm như Ridomil Gold, Mannozeb, Physan...định kỳ 1 lần/tháng để ngừa, còn nếu đã bị bệnh thì cắt bỏ phần cây bệnh và phun theo chỉ dẫn trên nhãn thuốc để chữa bệnh. Đại loại ra cửa hàng thuốc BVTV hỏi người bán thuốc phòng và trị thối nhũn người ta sẽ có thuốc cho bạn, các loại thuốc này không chỉ chuyên biệt trị một loại bệnh mà nó chứa nhiều hoạt chất để phòng và trị kết hợp nhiều loại bệnh khác nhau. Có vườn môi trường thoáng mát, sạch sẽ, số lượng cây ít không phun phòng cũng không thấy có bệnh.
