Las tres embarcaciones rodean el Cabo de Buena Esperanza para evitar que su carga sea confiscada al pasar por el Canal de Suez. Esta es una ruta peligrosa, pero se espera que su carga llegue a destino antes de fin de mes.

La industria petrolera venezolana está pasando por su peor momento histórico, según señalan sindicalistas del sector, quienes denuncian fallas constantes y paralización de las refinerías.

Además, aseguran que la única esperanza es la refinería El Palito y actualmente solo produce 30 mil barriles diarios y con severas fallas operativas.

Según el periodista experto en hidrocarburos, Andrés Rojas, el problema de la producción de combustible en Venezuela, no se va a resolver a corto plazo, porque implica inversiones que han sido calculadas por el orden de 3.000 millones de dólares.

Por otro lado, un nuevo cargamento iraní que vendría en el buque Forest, de 300.000 barriles de combustible, solo alcanzaría para un mes y no es una solución permanente a la escasez
